Junior Solutions Engineer

Job Summary


As a fulltime Junior Solutions Engineer, you will apply your customer support experience and newly-learned technical knowledge to implement and troubleshoot customer software installations of our SENTRY™  Software.


Responsibilities


  • Learning every feature of the SENTRY™ family of software products
  • Performing SENTRY™ Software Implementations and Upgrades
  • Answering SENTRY™ Software Technical Support calls and emails
  • Assisting with writing or updated SENTRY™ Software Technical Documentation
  • Taking notes during customer calls and internal meetings
  • Updating the internal 911 Secure CRM tool with new customer data
  • Assisting IT with Telephony and System Admin-related tasks
  • Assisting QA with Sentry Software testing


Basic Qualifications


  • Able to work efficiently and responsibly as a remote worker, maintaining regular work hours and being available at a moment’s notice via IM or phone
  • Able to work as a team player
  • Able to work on simultaneous projects and not mind having work reprioritized on short notice
  • Able to learn new tools and technologies
  • A full understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • 5+ years working directly with customers


Preferred Qualifications


  • 2+ years working directly with customers from a leadership role
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree
