Job Summary

As a 100% remote, fulltime, W-2 employee working normal business hours, you will apply your experience and knowledge to design, develop, test, and implement software fixes and new features of moderate to high-level complexity. Those seeking contract or part-time work will be rejected immediately.


Responsibilities

· Own the design, development, and preliminary testing of software fixes and new features

· Write design specifications for assigned new features and components

· Write first-draft user documentation for assigned new features and components

· Troubleshoot newly-discovered issues and present solutions to address such issues

· When directed, investigate new tools and technologies for the purpose of improving our products

· When necessary, provide end-user technical support to customers 


Basic Qualifications

· Able to work efficiently and responsibly as a 100% remote worker, maintaining regular daytime work hours and being available immediately via IM or phone

· Able to work as a team player, performing code reviews and offering constructive feedback without criticizing

· Able to work on simultaneous projects and not mind having work reprioritized on short notice

· Significant knowledge / experience (at least 80%) in relevant technologies:

o Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android development using native and cross-platform tools 

o Ionic, Electron, Node.js, C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, AngularJS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, REST, SOAP, HTML, Razor, Perl, SignalR, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP, Entity Framework, LINQ, WPF, CSS, WiX, Bootstrap, Moment.js.

o Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Scrum, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration best practices

· Excellent written and verbal skills

· 3 to 5 years post-college software development experience


Preferred Qualifications

· 5 to 10 years post-college software development experience

· Certifications in relevant technologies


Required Education

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field 


Location

· 100% remote position in Eastern through Pacific time zones (daytime hours) with up to 5% travel
